We’re on Techphile!

Frank posted it on techphile.ca so it must be cool to talk about it now. We did an awesome interview with Frank at Techphile which will “air” on the 25th, just over a week before we release episode 3 on October 5th. We’ve also been invited to the meetup this December in Toronto. We’re all really excited about heading north for the meetup.

Our T-Shirts are online, and I’ve purchased one to check it out. Wearing it right now. It’s pretty good quality, but I’m not going to stop looking for a better provider because at the moment we’re only making $1 per shirt. Pretty lame. This show is going to have to find some way to fund itself. I’m reluctant to place a donate button on the site yet, even though we’ve been contacted many times about donations.

I just finished editing a segment with Ali that’s really going to show the world who she really is. No more chick tips. I’m really excited about this one becasue the production quality is the best I’ve ever done. It’s damn close to network broadcast TV (no, not the reality TV shit).

We successfully moved to the new host and we’re blowing through our first terrabyte quick. I’m sure the costs will really add up soon. Hopefully with the ads, yes we had to do it, will help offset the cost of production and hosting. Who knows.

Oh, and finally the cast pages at hak5.org have been updated. Finally. Now if I can only get broadcast machine talking with iTunes we’ll be listed there, but thats another rant.

The stress level is starting to taper off, at least where the show is concerned. There are only 2 more segments to shoot and we’ll pretty much be done. I’ll be heading up to Norfolk this weekend to shoot the Homebrew Hack with Jon.

As far as work is concerned, I’m hoping this Friday/Saturday goes well. I’ll be moving a couple servers from one datacenter to another and reconfiguring the CRM & accounting applications on both. It wouldn’t be too bad if it weren’t for the funky VPN setup.

Anyway, back to the grind.
