We got the house, kinda…

We got the house, kinda. There was one exception made to the contract and that is we’ll have to cover $2000 of the closing costs. Sure it’s not a whole ton of money but after our recent trips to Toronto (2 last month for Call for Help and Pure Pwnage) and replacing our broken Sony HC85 (Camera 3), we’re not exactly rolling in dough right now. Between the closing cost, the $1000 I had to put up front a few days ago, and whatever it costs for the home inspection and attorneys, I’m sad to say I might have to skip Christmas again this year. That’ll be the second year in a row with no tree, no lights, no presents.

But on the bright side, I’ve got my health, my friends, and the support of the community. So I figure we’ll just have Christmas in February along side Wess and my birthdays, and throw one helluva house party.

I can’t wait to close on this house, get the keys, and wire up the Cat6 all over before we bring in the furnature. That’s going to be a blast. Oh, and Veoh looks pretty cool.
