The blocks have taken over!

Last week we had the pleasure of having the wonderful Jenn Cutter down to the Hak5 studios. We had a blast playing everything from Guitar Hero to Lego StarWars II. Then she made the huge mistake of introducing me to BlockLand. From there I found the amazing mod Return to Blockland and it’s been downhill since. I’m completely addicted, more so than I ever was to WoW. This game, if you want to call it that, is so cool. So we’ve opened a Return to Blockland server at Hak5 and the community has really taken to it. You can find all the details about joining in on the fun in this Hak5 wiki article. And I’ve got to say thank you to the Hak5 community for the wonderful game documentation. I spent hours pouring over the Blockland and Return to Blockland forums only to find that there was no proper documentation. Give the Hak5′ers a few hours experimenting on the server and now we’ve got the best documentation on the web! w00t!

Other than that, the show is going well. We’ve got an awesome guest joining us this weekend for a fun code segment. Paul has been working on a really good segment for the last few weeks involving VOIP which should be really fun. And I’ve got a zero day that’ll make the USB Switchblade look like a toy. (though I had to scale it back a bit, not looking for trouble with the man.) Oh, and we’ve added a setcam.
