Hak.5 pilot very soon
Posted on July 29th, 2005 | by admin |Yay, finished… Almost.
I’ve got the first full edit complete. The first episode is weighing in at 27 minutes, which rendered in Quicktime at 1Mbps 640×480 for 190 MB of goodness. Now I’ve just got to fix the volume on two tracks, tighten up a scene, fix some credits, and re-render the final cut. I’m so excited to have this in the can. I’ll have the video up tomorrow and you guys will be the first to see. Thanks so much for all the support from my friends durring this adventure.
The website is getting together. Jon has offered his services in the CSS department which will really help things out as he’s an awesome web designer. I’ve been looking at several different media distribution sites and between ourmedia.org and the broadcast machine from the Participatory Culture Foundation I’m sure we’ll be able to host a direct download and Torrent swarm. Jon has graciously offered bandwidth from two of his sites which is really going to help out a lot. I’m going to keep working on the encoding to see if I can get the file size down without making it look like crap.
Ok, off to chop up the episode, render it, setup the site, the torrents, the forums, the email addresses, the xml feeds, the polls, the bios, post the ep, promote, and get ready to do it all over again with episode two.
Exciting times.
Kick back watch it crumble See the drowning, watch the fall I feel just terrible about it That’s sarcasm, let it burn

CONGRATULATIONS to the cast and crew.
Dinosaurs will die? Didn’t know it was that kind of a day.
