And I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
Posted on January 25th, 2005 | by admin |I told myself I wasn’t going to do a blog. So, yeah, this isn’t a blog. Deal. I wanted a place to put my pictures, videos, recipes, and other really dull stuff. I searched around and found what seems to be a pretty cool web host. Spiffy. This is the point where you yawn.
Anyway, I was going to throw together a neato experimental type site with confusing menus and loads of pictures but I realized my HTML-Foo isn’t what it used to be. This will do for now. I actually cheated and let the web host install the WordPress software. At least its Open Source so I’m somewhat K-Rad.
I looked at some other content management packages on sourceforge.net for a while and even thought I might give a crack at it in PHP, but alas I’m lacking the motivation to spend countless hours debugging code when I could be evolving this site into something half presentable. Maybe at some point I’ll take this bad boy into DreamWeaver and spice it up. Gasp I’ve become a WYSIWYG’er.
I’ll post an update when I get the picture gallery online.
Oh yes, and of course the obligatory “First Post!”

It’s about time you got this thing up, interface is good could use some owrk but I guess I need to get you the software ha? Hey I figure why not I be the first one to write any kind of response for this soon to be, monstrocity of a blog..at least we hope.
Sorry friend, you know the world no longer wirtes in straight code naymore.. either you have some serious skills and you take about 3x the time to build what can easily be done a day of some wysi - wyg - ing or your just to neglegent to accept the world is changeing and we allmove on to bigger and better things! Then again I must mention what are classes, polymorphism, inhertiance and all that good stuff there for..to simplify our lives freind.
