Amazing video tracing software
Posted on March 22nd, 2008 | by admin |As someone who has spent countless hours working with splines, meshes and nurbs I can say whole heartedly this is the most amazing 3D technology I’ve ever seen. I want it. I have absolutely no use for it what so ever, but you give me the ability to toss vertexes on moving pictures and I’ll sit there for hours listening to techno and clicking like a zombie cracked out on candy.
Oh, and I seem to remember seeing something very similar to this in a CFH demo Alex Lindsay did while we were in studio one day. Damn I need to go to SIGGRAPH one of these days.

I think your missing the hours of rendering, it seems like a quicker way to make 3d models and a skin for them at the same time, though its probably much easier to use if you are a profcient 3d modeler.
It would be nice to have, though i don’t see how it would be all the usefull to the show. If you ever get it, it would make a great segment.
